Our Company

Selmon Shala B.I is a family run business that operates in the rural area of Peje, Kosovo. The company has long experience in the production of vegetables in greenhouses and open fields. They have invested in building a total area of 1 ha in greenhouses, which enables production of vegetables all year. They continuously supply the local market of Peje with fresh vegetables, where the most important product is lettuce. Also, the company produces and sells tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, cabbages, and other vegetables. Selmon Shala who runs this company, and his young son Ermal Shala are very passionate about agriculture which helps them to be very productive, creative and successful. Furthermore, they are very aware of food safety and have good knowledge regarding integrated pest management practices. Selmon Shala B.I is certified according to Global G.A.P standard for the lettuce. This certification not only shows the willingness of the company to fulfill the demand of its client for high quality and safe products, but also is a very good tool for them to expand in new markets.
