Description
Tomatoes contain 94% water, 2% fiber, 1% protein, 3% sugar, 300 mg% potassium, 25 mg% vitamin C, l mg% vitamin E, malic and citric acid and lycopene (2 mg per 100 grams), a carotenoid with anticancer properties. When we use tomatoes in the dish, it loses a good portion of vitamin C.
